Spiny-headed mat rush
Fibrous leaves and fragrant flowers. Full sun - part sun. 1m high x 1m wide. Readily self-seeds
in damp conditions.
Ngunnawal use - leaves used to weave baskets, make string and create fish traps. Base of starchy leaves eaten. Seeds are ground into flour.
