Queensland bottle tree

A semi-deciduous tree with bulbous water holding trunk from inland dry areas of NSW and Qld. Typically loses leaves in warmer months. Requires well drained soils as hates waterlogging.
Has creamy white flowers followed by large dark brown seed pods. Smaller growing in southern states. Prefers full sun position and well drained soils.
Uses: microforests, home gardens.
