Acacia dealbata

Silver Wattle

Very fast growing hardy wattle with suckering habitat. Silvery foliage and creamy yellow ball-like flowers. Grows in full sun, part-shade or full shade.
Some tubestock at the Downer Microforest grew to 3m tall in 7 months.
Ngunnawal people used bark to make string and rope and timber for tools like digging sticks and seeds for flour.
